What is Degen Fishing?

Degen Fishing is a seasonal fishing and collection game. The core loop is simple: catch fish, upgrade cards, evolve stronger creatures, trade in the marketplace, and prepare for Fish Battles.

Collection tiers

Fish Rarities

Fish rarities are Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary, and Mythic. Higher rarity fish are more valuable and harder to obtain.

Upgrade System

Upgrade means making the same fish stronger. Example: Cosmic Tuna + Cosmic Tuna = Cosmic Tuna ⭐

Evolution System

Evolution turns eligible 0-Star fish into a higher rarity. Only 0-Star fish can be evolved.

Power & Luck

Every fish has Power and Luck. Higher Power improves battle performance. Higher Luck improves fishing outcomes.

Fishing fuel

Energy System

During Cycle 1 · Season 2, daily rod allowances replace hourly regeneration: Free Rod gets 0, Epic Rod gets 5, and Legendary Rod gets 10 Energy each UTC day.

5 Energy = 2 USDC

10 Energy = 3.8 USDC

Fishing and energy purchases require a verified linked-wallet balance of at least 15,000,000 CAST this season. The server restores hourly regeneration, no CAST gate, and the original 0.5 / 0.8 USDC prices when the next cycle starts.

Season rank

Leaderboards

Each season has its own leaderboard. Season 1 ranks 1-20 have published DEGEN allocations, ranks 21-30 have 5,000,000 $CAST, and ranks 31-50 have 2,500,000 $CAST. Claims open only when the reward pool is fully configured and funded.

The active CAST prize tracker starts at 250M CAST and adds 10% of each verified marketplace sale. Final rankings and winner prizes remain available from the season selector.

After Season 3 a new cycle begins.

End of Cycle Reset

At the end of Season 3, Collection converts into Score and Progression resets.

Preserved permanently: all Mythic fish, starred or unstarred, and starred Legendary fish. All other fish are removed after conversion.
